than informing them, and as
the Entertainment
Industry is more typically
presented
as headline news instead
of as
the empty, pacifying, non-entertaining
fluff
that it really is,

up to IndieLoad.com and other Web-Zines
like
it to try and set the record straight
before
even more of the world's youth
are raised
ignorant to the existence of
legitimate
Original Art, Music & Expression
outside
what is promoted by corporate interests.
Knowledge
is Power;
IndieLoad
is a free Web Journal
hoping
to provide a flint of insight
into
the parallel existence
of similar
yet seemingly
unlinked
happenings
beyond
the realm of
POP CULTURE.
We believe
that Popular Culture is
an illegitimate
social phenomenon
homogenized
and censored by
corporations
and their like
for mass
public consumption
in pursuit
of cold hard cash.
Even
though Pop Culture's roots can
begin
legitimately as local and/or
regional
trends, more times than
not,
an original vision (and with it its
raw energy
and aura) is lost when
a move
is made to exploit it for its
maximum
monetary sell potential.

The absence of Pop Culture
would
not jeopardize human kinds'
ability
to survive on this planet as, say
the absence
of clean water might.)
As the
United States' F.C.C.
bends
and bows to big money
from
big media interests and is sure to
soon
comply and respond by abolishing
rules
and regulations that encourage
diversity
in the Media, Pop Culture(tm?) will
be fully
owned and regulated by those
who only
want to profit from it being
applied
functionally. In response, masses
of educationally
deprived-in-the-area-of-the-
Liberal-Arts
people could potentially
sway
to hold art, music, and such
as only
legitimately significant if accompanied
by a
brand name, licensed sponsor,
or government
seal.

are

IndieLoad's
mission is
to actively
pursue free thought
and expose
Art & Music &
Original
Thoughts that have yet to be
"groomed
and polished" for Popular Culture.
By comparison,
if the
Washington Post or CNN were a school's
valedictorian
giving a speech to the PTA on
teenage
grooming, than IndieLoad could be
the student
who got sent to
detention
far down the hallway because she
carved
"kilroy was here" into her arm
or because
he didn't have the money
to look
like the status quo;
brilliantly/curiously/consciously
hoping
to avert any big sell out.
Our footage
may be raw and real
with
a Zapruder film spirit perhaps,
but in
an age where media tools and global
communication
access are finally
coming
into the hands of the masses, there
is quite
a grumble-rumble from the
Uber-rich/Owned
&
regulated
Media that has been
rushing
at breakneck speed to cut-off any
and all
free roads for constructing
anything
that may spew Truth, thereby
threatening
the Grande Puppeteer's
complete
Imperialist control.
We are
in a renaissance that is exciting,
renegade,
chaotic, and without toll.
Intellectual
rights and property are our
utmost
concern; as a web presence
we strive
to only inform and educate
and act
as a catalyst toward
active
autonomy.
